In an effort to help the community compare the four candidates for the two seats on the Board of Education, which will be decided in the November 8 election, the West Essex Tribune, with the help of the League of Women Voters, posed four questions to the candidates. The League of Women Voters of Livingston, a non-partisan organization, has emphasized that its goal is the promotion of political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. The League does not support or oppose any candidate and has formulated these questions in an effort to help educate the voters.
