Girls’ Soccer Team Clinches Conference; Gains First Seed in County Tournament

The 14th-ranked Lady Lancers varsity soccer team did not disappoint on Senior Night. In front of the largest home crowd of the season, Livingston tripped up West Essex, 5-1, to improve to a 10-0-1 record this season. The team, which has clinched the SECAmerican Conference and gained the first seed in the Essex County Tournament, then went on to defeat Newark Academy, 2-0.   Defeats West Essex   In the game against West Essex, as has become a tradition, head coach Paul Raiz started all nine seniors. That set the tone for the evening as Livingston came out aggressively and hungry.
