Barbara M. Liu Dies at Age 73

Barbara M. Liu, 73, died on Friday, March 29. Originally from Jing Xi, China, Mrs. Liu immigrated to the United States and resided in Forest Hills, New York, for many years, eventually settling in Livingston.

She is survived by her husband, Johnson; her daughter, Monica; a granddaughter; and her son-in-law. She is also survived by her sister, Ming Xi Bai, and brothers-in-law David and Michael.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home in Livingston. A private entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Liu’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
