Three residential projects were approved by the Livingston Zoning Board on Tuesday, August 23. Four other projects were adjourned: three prior to the meeting, and one following discussion.
Variances Granted
An application by Revati Raje to construct a deck in the rear yard of 12 Sunshine Lane was approved. The deck, which is on an upper floor, will be extended a few feet to make it a rectangular shape. The Board granted a five foot variance for rear yard setback; a seven foot variance for the height of the deck; and a 1.8 foot variance for the accessory structure setback. The decision was based on the irregularly shaped property and the Board's opinion that no detriment will be caused to the neighborhood
