Delvin Burton, owner/operator of Cycle Bar in Livingston, recently donated a number of boxes of men’s deodorant to Livingston Philanthropies, Inc. (LPI). “This is like gold out there,” noted LPI founder and CEO Jeff Friedman of Livingston, who will, in conjunction with the charity’s partner agencies, distribute the deodorant to area homeless individuals. LPI is a 501(c)(3) organization that purchases and distributes food, clothing, toiletries, and more to the “homeless, profoundly poor, and disenfranchised” of urban Essex County. Donations may be sent to LPI at 8 Country Club Road, Livingston, NJ 07039; or through PayPal (even without a PayPal account) at paypal.me/njhomeless. For more information, visit njhomeless.org.
