Best wishes and congratulations on your engagement!The West Essex Tribune will be happy to publish your announcement, provided one of the engaged couple is, or once was, a Livingston resident. This form is provided to make it more convenient for you to submit the necessary information.We must have the engagement announcement by noon on Tuesday for Thursday publication. The photo, if one is to be included, may be of any size, and may be of the bride-elect or of the couple. There is no charge for the engagement announcement or for publishing the photograph.The article and photo may be e-mailed to [email protected](link sends e-mail). If a photo is submitted electronically, it must be sent in a j-peg format, and as an attachment, not embedded in the e-mail message itself. Please note that our newspaper adheres to a VERY STRICT WEDDING PICTURE POLICY. A wedding photo of either the bride or the couple will be published free of charge, provided we receive the photo by the FOURTH TUESDAY AFTER THE WEDDING. After the fourth Tuesday, a $35 fee will be charge to have the photo published.We need the following information for your engagement announcement:

If a photograph is to be published with the article, all the information and the picture must be submitted before noon on the fourth Tuesday after the ceremony. After that time, there is a $35 fee for publication of the photograph, although the article itself is free of charge.In order to keep the news timely, a flat fee of $150 will be charge for publication of both photo and article if the information is submitted after the deadline for publication in the 13th issue following the ceremony. There is no size requirement for wedding photographs; anything from a wallet size to an 8 x 10 is acceptable, and there is not advantage in supplying a larger print. Snapshots may be used if they are clear and sharp.This form, when completed, and accompanied by a photograph if one is desired, may be delivered in person to the West Essex Tribune, 495 South Livingston Avenue, or by mail to P.O. Box 65, Livingston, NJ 07039. Photographs and wedding articles can also be sent by e-mail at [email protected](link sends e-mail). Photos sent via e-mail should be in a jpg or tiff format. Those who send their announcement by e-mail, however, should call the office to insure it was received and can be opened.There is no charge for the publication of wedding announcements, nor for the reproduction of photographs received by noon on the 4th Tuesday after the ceremony.
