For the second year, Newark volunteer Jackie Barnes held a gown and accessories giveaway event for students who may not be able to afford dresses for their proms. Livingston Philanthropies, Inc. (LPI), using donations from its “Trish Duffy Toiletries and Cosmetics Challenge,” provided 50 festive cosmetics gift bags for the deserving high school students.
