Funeral Mass Friday For Eileen P. Condon

Eileen Patricia Condon, nee Kearns, died Saturday, January 14, at the age of 90. Visitation will take place today, Thursday, January 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for her at St. Joseph’s Church, West Orange, on Friday, January 20, at 10 a.m.

Born September 15, 1932 in Orange, Mrs. Condon graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair. She was a parishioner of St. John Church of Orange for most of her life and, in more recent years, belonged to Saint Joseph’s Church in West Orange. She was a member of the Seton Hall Prep Mothers’ Auxiliary, the Mount Saint Dominic Academy Parents’ Association, the St. John Soup Kitchen, and the West Essex YMCA in Livingston.

Mrs. Condon was predeceased in 2022 by her husband of 60 years, Jimmy; her brother, Thomas; and one grandchild. Surviving are her children, James and his wife, Anna; John and his wife, Pauline; Mary Catherine Callaghan and her husband Joseph; Eileen Kohautand her husband, Matthew; and Michael and his wife, Bernadette; her sisters, KathleenAsselmeyer and Sarah Bald; and 20 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations in Mrs. Condon’s name be made to the GoodVibes and Easy Living Foundation (https://goodvibeseasyliving.org/donate); Seton Hall Prep School (www.shp.org/donate); Mount St. DominicAcademy (www.msdacademy.org/donate); or to a charity of one’s choice.
