Claire Marie DeCicco, née Clara Caffera, died in her Livingston home on January 12. She was 94 years old.
A funeral Mass was offered on Saturday, January 14, at Holy Family Church in Florham Park, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Born in Long Branch in 1928, she grew up in the Vailsburg section of Newark, and attended Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange.
An active member of United Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey and its Parents’ Association, she coordinated many successful charity events, most notably yearly fashion shows at Mayfair Farms.
Predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Alfonso M. DeCicco, Mrs. DeCicco is survived by her daughters,Annette DeCicco and her husband, Larry Stanley; and Diane Brozyna and her husband, Garry F. Brozyna; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
