PURSUIT ENDS IN CRASH: At 1:23 a.m, Livingston Police officers located a stolen 2016 Kia on Glendale Avenue and attempted to pull over the vehicle. The driver disregarded the officers and took off. A pursuit began, heading down North Livingston Avenue, ending in Roseland at the intersection of Eagle Rock Avenue and Eisenhower Parkway, when the driver of the stolen vehicle lost control and crashed into the Exxon sign at the corner of the intersection. After the crash, a foot pursuit ensued for numerous suspects, who were apprehended by Livingston officers, along with surrounding agencies that arrived to assist. Arrested were a 16-year-old male from Newark; a 17-year-old male from Newark; a 17-yearold male from Roselle; and Jonathan Adofo, 18, of Newark. Adofo was charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, hindering apprehension, and conspiracy. He was lodged in the Essex County Jail. The three juveniles were released to their parents, and will be charged by the Livingston Juvenile Detective Bureau. The Kia is shown, above, being removed from the scene, where it was stuck in an area of bushes and large boulders. To extricate the car, a sling system, which went under the car, was used; the vehicle was then lifted out, swung around and put down on solid ground
