Halloween Fun and Frights

With Halloween just a few days away there is plenty to do in town to commemorate the spooky season.

With Halloween just a few days away there is plenty to do in town to commemorate the spooky season.

On Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., a haunted walk will be held at the Livingston Senior/ Community Center. There will be an early walk for young children, followed by a spookier one for the older crowd.

After the weekend’s festivities, Halloween proper comes on Tuesday, and the Northland Recreation Complex will host a Trunk or Treat event from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Participants can hand out candy and decorate their vehicles for Trunk or Treat, while youngsters are invited to walk from vehicle to vehicle in the parking lot collecting treats.

Occurring simultaneously at Northland is Fright Night, which will feature a Halloween costume contest parade, family photo booth, and candy guessing contest. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m., with participants parading around the Northland Complex in their costumes. Fright Night celebrations include a Halloween costume contest parade, family photo booth, and candy guessing contest. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. sharp with participants parading around Northland Complex in their Halloween costumes. There will be two winners in each of six different categories, with winners receiving a special prize.

It should be a fun-filled few days in town, and we wish all our residents a safe and happy Halloween! And if anyone has a great costume or particularly creatively decorated house, please send us your photos to share in the Tribune! Pictures may be emailed to [email protected]. We look forward to seeing them.
