Officer Naylor Retires

Livingston Police Officer Kelli-Ann Naylor, the second female officer hired by the township, retired last week after 25 and a half years with the Livingston Police Department (LPD). Prior to joining LPD in May, 1998, she was a special officer in Seaside Heights.

“She was the second female officer hired at LPD, so she blazed some trails for the other female officers who followed,” Chief Gary Marshuetz said. “Kelli-Ann has been the type of officer who brought common sense and compassion to her patrol. She developed connections with the community and she was able to bring sensitivity to her job when the situation required it.”

Naylor also served on LPD’s biking unit, which meant she spent a lot of time interacting with the community.

“Throughout her career on patrol, Kelli-Ann Naylor was the consummate professional : always taking her assignments seriously, performing thorough investigations and diligent police work, supporting and training her fellow officers, and making this community safer through her work,” Chief Marshuetz said. “Kelli-Ann, I wish you the best for your retirement, and offer you my heartfelt thanks from the Township of Livingston for your years of excellent service.”
