ACADEMY GRADS: The Livingston Police Department has graduated the fourth class from its Citizens Police Academy program. The academy was a no-cost 11-week program designed to give participants an understanding of the operation of the Livingston Police Department and a working knowledge of what law enforcement entails. Participants learned about many aspects of police work, including dispatch, traffic enforcement, Emergency Service Unit, firearms, drone operations, criminal investigation, and community policing. Dan Martian. In the back are dispatcher Gerard Falzo, Murtaza Kathawala, Jay Patel, Paul Altman, Jeffrey Hinkley, Ganesh Kamath, Philip Chaiklin, Ken Heilpern, Sgt. José Antunes, Hao Wu, Police Chaplain Rev. Richard Vossler, and Officer Jarrett Hesselbirg. Also attending the academy were Arthur and Cara Altman, Vijay Bhagashra, and Dezhuang Zhang.
