On Saturday, November 25, Philip ‘ Pop ’ John Farinella Sr. died at the age of 88. Ason of Italian immigrants, he grewup inNewark, and lived with his wife, Joyce, in Livingston for 65 years.
He was a graduate of Fordham University, a pharmacist, and owned a chain of local pharmacies.
Mr. Farinella is survived by his wife, Joyce; his five children; and 12 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations go to a charity of the donor’s choice.
