Joy Rimelis of Livingston, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 3, 2023.
Joy loved her job as a pre-K teacher at Executive Kids in Verona, New Jersey. Joy also held a certificate in cosmetology from the Capri Institute; in her previous career, she worked as a hair coloring specialist.
Joy’s deepest passion was positively affecting children’s lives and helping those around her. She will be sorely missed by the families she has touched; most of all, by her own.
Joy is survived by her father and mother, Edward and Susan Rimelis; her brother, Joe; her sisters, Jessica and Sara; and her nieces and nephews, Abbie, Henry, Michael, Charlotte, Benjamin, Sam, and Charles.
A funeral service will be held at The Crossing Church, 222 Laurel Avenue, Livingston, New Jersey, on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10 a.m., with interment to immediately follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.
