History Bowl Team Wins Nationals

The Livingston High School varsity history bowl team won the National History Bowl competition, which was held recently in Arlington, Virginia. Competing against the strongest 165 teams in the country, the Lancers remained undefeated throughout the entire three day tournament. The varsity team included Robert Wang, Akshaya Shanker, Aanya Rathi, Joshua Metters, and Ben Silversten.

The Livingston High School varsity history bowl team won the National History Bowl competition, which was held recently in Arlington, Virginia. Competing against the strongest 165 teams in the country, the Lancers remained undefeated throughout the entire three day tournament. The varsity team included Robert Wang, Akshaya Shanker, Aanya Rathi, Joshua Metters, and Ben Silversten.

The Junior Varsity (JV) team made it to the first round of playoffs, and ended up in 16th place after many impressive wins. The JV Team included Arav Kaushik, Parik Eda, Ethan Liu, and Jack Liu. Aviral Bhardwaj is also a member of the JV team.

Students also performed exceptionally well in the individual competitions.

Junior Wang won the National History Bee competition and earned second place in the National Geography Bee. Sophomore Liu was also a semifinalist in the National Geography Bee.
