On May 2, junior Jackson Becker became one of the few pitchers in Lancer history to throw a complete game, no-hitter. Becker struck out six and walked three as the Lancers beat Nutley, 7-1. It was only the second start on the mound for Jackson.

Since then, the Lancers have won three games in the Greater Newark Tournament (GNT) and will be facing Seton Hall prep in the finals at Verona High School this Saturday at noon. The Lancers secured victories over Belleville, 6-0, Barringer, 5-4, and Montclair, 3-2.
