Livingston Police detectives are investigating a “smash and grab” commercial burglary that occurred last week.
At 4:35 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, officers responded to Duet Inc., located at 79 South Livingston Avenue, on a report of an activated burglar alarm.
Officers arrived and observed the rear glass door was shattered. A further investigation revealed that the suspects had fled the scene prior to the police arriving.
The total amount of merchandise stolen was not known as of press time and the Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the matter.
