Marcel Zaim Antaki, 87, of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024.
Relatives and friends were invited for visitation on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4 through 8 p.m. in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com.
A Funeral Mass was offered on Friday, June 21, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, NJ 07068, with entombment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
Born in Heliopolis, Egypt, he was married, and was a fighter pilot for the Egyptian Military. Then, he moved to Beirut with his family where he became a commercial pilot. He moved his family to the United States in 1976 to escape the civil war in Lebanon, settling in Livingston, NJ in 1982.
Prior to his retirement, he was an exporter for Colonial Export in Whippany, NJ. A longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland, he was devoted to his church. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.
He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Liliane Antaki (nee Abboud). He is survived by his devoted sons, Elie Antaki (June), Patrick Antaki (Michelle), Alan Antaki (Suzanne), and Roger Antaki; loving grandchildren, Nicholas (Heather), Kiersten, Natalia, and Maxim, and great grand-daughter, Lily.
