LITTLE LEAGUE 12U ARE DISTRICT 8 CHAMPS: The Livingston Little League 12U All Star team defeated Caldwell, 8-1, to win the District 8 baseball championship on Friday, July 5, at Glenfield Park in Montclair. The victory was highlighted by Matthew Gillock pitching a complete game two-hitter, while runs were batted in by Alan Gholston, Bryce Cullen, and Liam Zotti. Livingston now advances to the NJ Section 2 tournament on Friday, July 12, in Hoboken, where they will face Rutherford. Shown here, the team celebrates with its championship banner.
