JUNIOR POLICE GRADUATES

JUNIOR POLICE GRADUATES: The Livingston Police Department recently held its Junior Police Academy. The program was open to rising sixth, seventh and eighth graders. Highlights of the week included meeting the Newark Police Department’s Mounted Unit; a demonstration from the NJ State Police Polygraph Unit; riding with the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police on the Hudson River; a trip to the Federal Air Marshal Service; a presentation by the New Jersey State Corrections K9 Unit; a field trip to Port Authority Police Department at Newark Airport; spending the afternoon with the Livingston Fire Department; and hearing presentations by various units of the Livingston Police Department.
