Arlene Hesterhagen, 87, of Livingston, died on August 3. She was born on August 7, 1937 in Orange, to her parents, Carmen and Mary Canouch. Her two sisters, Anastasia Simone and Gertrude Ennis, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hesterhagen; and their sons, Ronald and David Facciponti.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 7, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home.Afuneral service was held on Thursday, August 8, at the funeral home, with entombment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in East Hanover.
Roosevelt Elementary School, now a shopping and office center, was built in 1927.
