The Camuso Holiday Display will return to the Oval, opening December 7 and running through January 1. The Camuso Committee is preparing a very special 2024 holiday celebration.
Since last year, the Committee has been meeting to raise funds and to plan improvements to the display. “We vowed last year that 2024 would be bigger and better than ever,” said “Head Elf’ Tom Cooney.
This year, the Livingston Police Department will be added to the exhibit next to the Fire and First Aid Departments. Livingston Community Policing Unit member Joy Klapal said, “We are excited to be part of this annual effort, which brings so much joy to our community and beyond.”
Beth Lippman, executive director of the Livingston Business Improvement District (BID) has been spearheading the Committee’s fundraising efforts. “We have great businesses in town that support this spectacular event,” Lippman said. “Funds go toward the repairs and upgrading of the display. It takes a lot of work, special parts, and special people to keep them working.”
This year, holiday ornaments will be available for purchase. Names will be painted on them and each ornament will be on display throughout the event. Following the completion of the event, those who purchased an ornament will be able to take it home.
