Livingston Police detectives are investigating a residential burglary and an attempted residential burglary that occurred earlier this week in town.
Residential Burglary
At 1:55 a.m. on Monday, January 13, officers responded to a Windermere Court residence on a report of a burglary to the home.
A Livingston Police officer on patrol observed that the front door of the residence was damaged. Upon further investigation, police determined the home had been entered by an unknown number of individuals.
It is unknown at this time if anything was taken from the residence; the homeowners were not home at the time of the burglary.
The Livingston Detective Bureau responded and processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Attempted Burglary
At 5:23 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, officers responded to a Boulderwood Drive residence on a report of a burglary in progress at the home.
The homeowner observed two suspects attempting to gain entry to the residence via a kitchen window. The suspects saw the homeowner and fled the scene in a white SUV.
The Livingston Detective Bureau responded and processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
