FENCING TEAMS WIN

FENCING TEAMS WIN: The Livingston High School girls’ fencing team defeated Kent Place, 19-8, on the road on Tuesday, February 18. The LHS boys’ fencing team defeated Oratory Prep, 17-10, on Tuesday, February 18. LHS’ girls’ and boys’ teams both won opening round games in the NJSIAA Team Tournament, with the boys defeating the Princeton Tigers, 15-12, on Thursday February 20. The girls defeated Voorhees, 17-10, on Friday, February 21, on the road. Shown above, Livingston fencer Ruhaan Munjuluri scores against Shaurya Ranjan of Princeton. Munjuluri defeated Ranjan, 5-2, to capture a Lancer point. Below, Livingston’s Bruno Camargo makes a touch against Gary Cheng of Princeton. Cheng defeated Camargo, 5-4, to earn the Tigers a point.
