Livingston detectives are investigating a potential commercial burglary and criminal mischief incident that occurred last week in town.
At 10:44 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, officers respond-ed to 19 South LivingstonAvenue on a report of a burglary to one of the vacant units in the building.
Officers arrived and met with the Livingston Fire Inspector, who said that it appeared that the suspect or suspects forcibly entered unit 2A, which was vacant. Graffiti was spray painted on the walls but nothing appeared to be taken, police said.
The Livingston Detective Bureau processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
