Raised in Bloomfield, NJ she lived in Glen Ridge eventually settling in Roseland. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary for Atlantic Health System in Montclair. She was a member of the Roseland Senior Society and enjoyed going on day trips and Broadway shows. She was an avid reader and played canasta with several groups in the area. In her spare time, she loved the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, Duncan and Gertrude MacRae.

Surviving are her beloved children, Robert Budelman and Beth Downey and her husband James; loving grandchildren, Megan, Heather, and Andrew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Glen Ridge Congregational Church. Under state law, bicycles must follow the same traffic regulations as cars, including driving on the right-hand side of the road, stopping at stop signs, and signaling turns; red and white lights, not reflectors, are required for use after dusk.
