Mrs. Schecter is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Leo Schecter; her son Barry Schecter, and daughter in-law Barbara. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalie Felberbaum and husband, Arnold; her four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mrs. Schecter was held on Tuesday, November 21, at the Riverside Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
