Born in Jersey City, Mr. William had resided in Livingston for the past six years. He had worked as a truck driver before he began working for the Lyndhurst Department of Public Works. He was very active in the Teamsters Union.

Predeceased by his wife, Sandra, his son, Scott, and his son-in-law, Triain Budi, he is survived by his children, Kathleen Ataide and her husband, Ricardo, and Tracey Budi; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 10, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

The family has suggested that memorial donations in Mr. William’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
