Mrs. Licata Dies at 86
Kathryn Licata, 86, of Livingston, died on July 23. Born in Brooklyn, New York on March 17, 1938, she was the daughter of Anthony and Adele (Abbaleo) Russo and was predeceased by her brothers, Daniel and Frank. She married Joseph Licata in 1959 and they were together for 61 years before his death in November of 2020.
Mrs. Licata is survived by her sons, Joseph and Christopher; her seven grandchildren; and greatgrandson.
A 10 a.m. celebration Mass is planned for Tuesday, August 6, at Corpus Christi Church in Chatham. Burial is to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joseph and Kathryn Licata scholarship fund at Archbishop Molloy High School.
