Dubow was born on March 18, 1928 in Newark and met his wife Sheila (Pomerantz) Dubow in 1956. They raised their family in Fair Lawn and Livingston before moving to Barnegat Light, New Jersey; Ogunquit, Maine; and Boca Raton, Florida.

Mr. Dubow is survived by his wife, Sheila; his daughters, Laurie and Nancy; and five grandchildren.
