Mr. Cohen Dies at 52

Brian Andrew Cohen, 52, died on October 16. He was a long-time resident of Livingston.

He was born March 7, 1972, to his parents Barry Cohen and Mary Elizabeth “Besty” Cohen (née Fess). Mr. Cohen become a Special Ed teacher and taught until his retirement at West Orange High School, where he also coached basketball and lacrosse. He was also the boys’ lacrosse coach at Livingston High School. He spent his summers as the director of Livingston Day Camp.

Mr. Cohen is survived by his wife, Deana Cohen (néeAsaro); son, Garrett Cohen; father, Barry; brothers, David and Scott; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Cohen (née Fess).

A visitation was held on Saturday, October 26, at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home. A Blessing followed the visitation.
