Hope Robinson, 85, of Livingston, New Jersey, died at home on October 29, 2024, after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Hope was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Brooklyn and Queens. She graduated from Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in English in 1961. In 1958 she married Herman (Robby) Robinson, also of Brooklyn. They were married for 55 years, residing mostly in Livingston.
Family was the central focus of Hope’s life. She was predeceased by the mainstays of her life: her husband, Robby, and her mother, Sally. She is survived by her 3 children, Lori, David, and Mitchell; and seven grandchildren, Gabriel, Abby, Ashley, Ella, Ari, Sophia, and Eve – all of whom miss her deeply.
Hope’s burial and funeral will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 ForestAvenue, Paramus. The family will be sitting shiva at Hope’s home in Livingston.
