Mr. Palumbo is survived by his wife, Penny Palumbo (née Staikos); his daughters, Catherine Scappetto and Joanna Leach; two grandchildren; and his brother, Vincent Palumbo.

Family and friends were invited to attend a visitation and prayer service at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home on Friday, December 27. Burial followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
