On Saturday, December 21, 2024, William Wayne Raab of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away at the age of 85. William passed peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer. William’s family was by his side when he passed. Bill, as he liked to be called, married his high school sweetheart, Ilse Englert in 1961. They raised two sons, William and Mitchell. They owned and operated Valley Household Appliances for many years. Bill was also a long-time member of the Livingston Fire Department. Bill and Ilse also had a large circle of friends, and their twin passions were horseback riding and Harley Davidsons. They retired and moved to Dawsonville, Georgia in 2017. They lived together, in retirement, until Ilse’s passing in August of 2023. Bill is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law William and Lourdes Raab, of Dawsonville, Georgia, and Mitchell and Lolita Raab of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren: Mitchell Raab of Orlando, Florida, and William Raab of Dawsonville.
