She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Jack Doppelt. She was the mother of the late Jane Negrin (Eugene), and of Jeremy Doppelt (Leslie Shaw) and Harvey Doppelt (Cathy), and had many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

A mainstay of many Jewish and civic organizations through the years, she took particular pride in serving multiple terms as president of the Essex County Chapter of the Brandeis National Women’s Committee, as well as in leadership roles in Livingston Hadassah. Funeral services were held on March 9 at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel in Livingston, with burial following at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
