Mr. Howes was predeceased by his siblings, Shirley Cooney, Jewel Howes and Joan Whitey. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann (née Glackin); his children, Colleen Howes and Ryan Howes; and his grandson Shane Noack. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and James Chin.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
