Judge Ronald Irving Parker died on January 4, 2023 in Livingston, New Jersey. He was 89 years old.

Anative of Brooklyn, NewYork, Judge Parker was a first generation American and the first person in his family to go to college. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army, where he was a Sergeant in the Military Police. Judge Parker was a graduate of Brooklyn College, earned his MBA at New York University, and his JD at Seton Hall Law School, which he attended at night for four years while working full time. He was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge in 1980 by then-Governor Brendan Byrne, and served in that position for many years.

JudgeParkerwaspredeceasedby his beloved wife,Adrienne Parker. He is survived by his children, Sue Parker (Bernard) Gerson, Emmy (Harry) Atlas, and Jeff (Nancy) Parker; his grandchildren, Rabbi Chayim (Chaya Miriam) and Jennie Gerson, Elana and Noah Atlas, and Robbie and Aaron Parker; and his great-grandchildren Naomi, Yehuda and Yaeli Gerson.

Services were held on Thursday, January 5, under the direction of Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, with a burial at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
