Dear Editor: This past Thursday, July 27, the veteran posts of Livingston commemorated the signing of the armistice to cease fighting during the Korean War. There was an excellent turnout even though the venue was changed to escape the heat. The town library was gracious to provide us space.

Two Newark teens are facing several charges after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a luxury vehicle, Livingston Police said.

Livingston resident Harsh Raju has announced his candidacy for the Livingston Public Schools Board of Education. There will be one open seat on the Board up for election this November. Board president Vineeta Khanna’s term will conclude at the end of the year, and she is not seeking reelection.
