TORCH RUN: The Livingston Police Department participated in the 40th anniversary of the New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run on Friday, June 9. Livingston’s participation in the run was or ganized by Officer Mike Bar reiro, along with a group effort from the Livingston PBA and its officers. Livingston took the torch from East Hanover at Panevino’s before traveling down Route 10 to Old Road, and eventually the Pillar Elementary School, shown here. The runners then continued to Eisenhower Parkway and South Orange Avenue, where the torch was handed off to the Florham Park Police Department at the town border. Beautiful weather drew large crowds to take part in the event, which included live music, games, food, and arts and crafts - including a children’s project to paint rocks with a Pride theme.
