Livingston High School Theater Presents ‘Pride and Prejudice’
The Livingston High School Theater Department fall play, “Pride and Prejudice,” will beheldnext week. Eveningperformances will be held at 7 p.m. on November 16, 17, and 18. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinee on November 18.

Gong Nabs Board of Education Seat; Bagolie, Sebold Win Respective Races
Fang Gong has won the race for a seat on the Livingston Public Schools Board of Education. Two other Livingston residents running on the ballot, Rosy Bagolie, for General Assembly, and Pat Sebold, for Essex County Commissioner, also each won their respective races. Results and vote counts are as ofpress time Wednesday morning; they are preliminary and do not include all vote-by-mail ballots.

Leaf Collection Program
LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM: Employees of the Livingston Department of Public Works started the seasonal leaf collection program on Riker Hill Road near Cliffside Drive on Monday, November 6. The program will continue through December 10. For further information, go to livingstonnj.org/leaves. Former Resident Celebrates 100th Birthday; Was Active in Town; Fought in World War II

Officer Naylor Retires
Livingston Police Officer Kelli-Ann Naylor, the second female officer hired by the township, retired last week after 25 and a half years with the Livingston Police Department (LPD). Prior to joining LPD in May, 1998, she was a special officer in Seaside Heights.

Attempted Burglaries, Package Thefts Reported
Two different attemptedhome burglaries were reported to Livingston Police in the past week. Additionally, packages were stolen from several Livingston homes.

Three Residential Applications Approved at Zoning Ed. Meeting
The Livingston Zoning Board, at its Tuesday, October 24 meeting, revisited the applications of David Wilner at 25 Marisa Court and Abhishek Gangwal at 6 Hazelwood Avenue, eventually approving the former and delaying a vote on the latter. The Board also approved two other cases, delayed voting on another, and dismissed a fourth due to the applicant’s failure to appear.
