Eleanor Klein Breslow, 99, died on March 11. She was born in Passaic and was married to Howard Breslow for over 65 years.

START OF BOYS’ TENNIS SEASON:

Joseph Orbach, 93,died at home on Tuesday, March 5. He is survived by his four children and their families.

Halli Pankin Lunin, 74, of West Orange, passed away on March 7, 2024.

Beloved father of Andrew Bodner (Debbie), Eric Bodner (Barbara), Felice Weiner, and Hilary Bodner (David).

Alan N. Furst, 73, died on March 10. He leaves his wife, Ruth Ann; daughter, Jill Furst Ahluwalia (Sid); his siblings and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel. He is also survived by his former wife.

This past week, the Livingston Fire Department (LFD) responded to a number of calls, including multiple downed wires, fire alarm transmissions, and a potential gas leak.

VOLLEYBALL TEAM WINS CHAMPIONSHIP:

Ellen Wagenberg died on March 5. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Barry Wagenberg. Additional survivors include her son, Lawrence Wagenberg, along with his wife and their sons; her daughter, Melissa Lasher, along with her husband and their children; and her sister.

At its meeting on Monday, March 11, the Livingston Township Council introduced two housing ordinances, and passed and tabled separate ordinances related to structures on privately owned property.
