Livingston’s Zoning Board will move its meetings to in-person only, beginning Tuesday, September 12. After holding its public sessions online through Zoom for several years, the Zoning Board will now return to the Town Hall chambers. Conference sessions that precede the public hearings will take place inside the nearby conference room in the same building.

Annie Blair Eisner, age 20, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023. Annie is survived by her parents, Jodi and Andrew Eisner; her sister, Lainie; and her grandparents, Joyce and Neal Leavitt. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Livingston’s Fire Department responded to various calls over the past week, including two reports of gas odors found at the Police Headquarters and on Spier and Spalding Drive on Thursday, August 24.

The Livingston Public Schools Board of Education issued a press release stating that its members are meeting and consistently sharing information with the Township Council. These conversations have recently included the possible use of the Monmouth Court C ommunity Center as a full-time school.

Livingston Council member Rosy Bagolie will seek the soonto- be open seat in the state Assembly for the 27th district, which includes parts of Essex County, including Livingston, and Morris County. The decision must be approved by the Democratic County Committee through a vote.
