Who tells the pigeon that he can’t drive the bus? None other than Meg Foley, a 2013 graduate of Livingston High School, who will play the bus driver in the Growing Stage’s production of “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical.”

Members of Livingston’s Board of Education continued discussions of the 2024-25 academic calendar and 2023-24 budget during its Tuesday, April 18, meeting.

The Livingston Planning Board, at its Tuesday, April 18 meeting, pushed back votes for the preliminary and final site plan applications submitted by Om Divya Realty LLC at 212,214, and 222 North Livingston Avenue, andMountPleasantPartners LLC at 389-405 East Mount Pleasant Avenue. The Board will reconvene to hear testimony from Om Divya Realty on June 6 and vote on Mount Pleasant Partners’ plan May 16, respectively.

At the National History Bee New Jersey spring regional finals on Saturday, April 15, at Ridgewood High School, Heritage Middle School seventh grader Hadrian Zheng won first place.

The Livingston Police Department recognized its dispatchers for their good work during National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week. Dispatchers answer non-emergency calls to the police station, 911 calls, send out emergency service transmissions, monitor emergency transmissions from surrounding towns, and answer radio calls from officers.

Livingston's .rst 2023 Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding Event will be held on Saturday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue. "This is a great event that ouers residents drive-through service to safely dispose of their unwanted electronics and to have their con.dential papers shredded," Livingston Mayor Michael Vieira said.
