The Livingston Planning Board, at its Tuesday, February 21 meeting, provided direction to its attorney to draft a resolution approving A&M Partnership’s 71 multi-family residential unit application for an unnumbered Eisenhower Parkway parcel. In Livingston Municipal Court this past week, a Bayshore, New York woman answered 40 charges in connection with depositing fraudulent checks in ATMs. According to court officials, Taylor Eppf, 26, was charged with 20 counts of forgery and 20 counts of theft by deception for depositing fraudulent checks into bank automatic teller machines between June 26 and 30,2022. All 20 checks were for amounts under $500.

The Livingston Township Council, at its regular meeting on Monday, February 13, passed several resolutions, one ordinance, and introduced two additional ordinances. The resolutions addressed several topics, including supporting a state bill to study reparations and construction of the to-be-built new Department of Public Works building.

At a recently added workshop meeting, Livingston Public Schools superintendent Matthew Block and business administrator Michael Davison presented a preview of budget goals to the Board of Education (BOE) on Monday, February 13. Among these goals includes an effort to maintain small classroom sizes, which Block and Davison offered a short-term solution: building modular structures.

During its Monday, February 13 meeting, the Township Council unanimously passed a resolution adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of anti-Semitism in Livingston.
