Livingston High School was locked down for a portion of the day on Monday, March 20, based on a report of a potential weapon in the building.

Livingston’s Board of Education adopted a tentative draft budget for the 2023-24 academic year, which includes a total appropriation of $144,870,639. The budget is currently in the process of being sent to Essex County for further approval.

The Livingston Planning Board, at its Tuesday, March 21 meeting, gave final review and approval to A&M Partnership’s 71 multi-family residential unit application for an unnumbered Eisenhower Parkway parcel.

During the conference meeting of the Livingston Township Council, held on Monday, March 13, members discussedhonoringthetown’s former clerk at an upcoming meeting and heard a proposal from the families of township LGBTQ students.

During its Monday, March 13, meeting, the Livingston Township Council was presentedfindings from the ad-hoc Livingston Cannabis Subcommittee, about what classes of cannabis business to approve in town. In November 2020, a referendum passed in New Jersey approving the legalization of cannabis by a two to one vote.
