Never Forget

With great sadness, the Martin Family announces the passing of their father, Kenneth V. Martin, Jr., who passed peacefully with his children and grandchildren by his side. He went to be with the Lord and his beautiful wife, Janet, on August 31, 2023 which would have been their 61st wedding anniversary.

Olympic gold medalist and former long-time Livingston resident Thomas William Courtney died Tuesday, August 22, at an assisted living facility in Naples, Florida. He was 90 years old.

Members of the Livingston High School baseball and softball teams have combined their love of baseball and softball and desire to support their community to create the first annual seventh and eighth grade Wiffle Ball Tournament.

JosephL. Kavalus of Toms River, formerly ofCapeMayandLivingston, passed away on August 12,2023 attheUniversityofPennsylvaniaHospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after a brief illness. He was 75 years old.

Livingston’s Zoning Board will move its meetings to in-person only, beginning Tuesday, September 12. After holding its public sessions online through Zoom for several years, the Zoning Board will now return to the Town Hall chambers. Conference sessions that precede the public hearings will take place inside the nearby conference room in the same building.

Annie Blair Eisner, age 20, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023. Annie is survived by her parents, Jodi and Andrew Eisner; her sister, Lainie; and her grandparents, Joyce and Neal Leavitt. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins.

150 Project Healthy Bones peer leaders across the state met at the Livingston Senior/Community Center on Thursday, August 24, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the program and to honor its leaders for their dedication and service.
