It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Barbara Aromando Lahm of Livingston. She passed away on June 5, 2024, due to complications from Alzheimer’s Disease.

Lora Freda-Sedlak, age 58, of Bernardsville, died on June 14. She attended Harrison School, Mt. Pleasant Middle School, and graduated from Livingston High School in 1983.

Bonnie Lou Silberstein, 76, formerly of Livingston, passed away on June 16,2024 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Bom in Newark, Bonnie grew up and lived most of her life in Livingston, and was a 1965 graduate of Livingston High School. She and her family were members of Temple Beth Shalom. Bonnie worked in a number of professions but her favorite was the Jewish Community Center where her love of children shined.

Marcel Zaim Antaki, 87, of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024.

Ming-Hsing Hung, 63, of Livingston, died on June 14. A funeral ceremony was offered on June 19 at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home in Roseland. Cremation services followed at Rosehill Crematory Chapel in Linden.

Helen Finch was born Helen Theresa Harazda on June 11, 1925 in Irvington, New Jersey. She passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 at Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Care Center in Livingston, having just turned 99 years old.

Services were held last week for Jacob Wilfred Davis, who was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Roxbury on May 31. He was 18 years old.

Joseph Arthur William, Jr., 90, died Tuesday, June 4.

Dr. Tao Zhen Lin of Livingston, died June 5 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 86 years old.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Carol Hirsch (née Cohen), who left us on May 29, 2024, at the age of 80. Judy was a beloved wife, mother, nana, great-nana, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Robert Amsterdam of Livingston passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 93. On his Yahrzeit, the one year anniversary of his passing, we remember and are comforted by all the beautiful memories. Beloved husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Reneé Amsterdam and his children, Lisa, Chuck, and Christie.
