Eleanor Virginia Werbel, of Livingston, passed away at age 105 on Saturday, March 4.

Rosa Maria Villa (nee Sierra), 84 of Livingston passed away on Saturday, March 11.

Florence Leibell, of Livingston New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, at the age of 91 with her family by her side.

A long time resident of Livingston, Nichola S. Boccongelli “Nick” passed peacefully overseas in Norwich, United Kingdom. He was 69 years old.

Elsie Monica, loving wife to her late husband Matthew and mother to Matt, Tom, Lynn, and Lisa, passed away on Tuesday, March 7. She was able to spend time with each of her children during her last days and passed peacefully in the arms of her daughters at her home.

Town Hall was a sea of green on Monday, March 13, as the Township Council honored the late Eric Rosenson, past-president of the Livingston Junior Lancer Lacrosse program. Rosenson died in December of 2022. Town Hall was filled with members of the Livingston Lacrosse community, who attended the start of the evening’s Council meeting to see Rosenson be recognized.

Flip through the pages of the last few editions of the Tribune, particularly the March 2 issue that was delivered to everyone in town, and you will see countless examples of residents taking up a cause. Volunteerism can take many forms, several of which have been on display this past month in Livingston.

The Livingston High School Theater gave us the old “razzle dazzle” last week with its brilliant production of Chicago, Teen Edition.

The Livingston High School girls’ soccer alumni is honoring their former soccer coach, Ed Grasso, who passed away suddenly in August of 2021. He was 64.

During the conference meeting of the Livingston Township Council, held on Monday, March 13, members discussedhonoringthetown’s former clerk at an upcoming meeting and heard a proposal from the families of township LGBTQ students.
